2011 brought a lot of changes to my life. I left my first ever "real" job after college to challenge my capabilities, explore new worlds and ultimately, strengthen my soul. I was in the OR for the 1st time in my grown life and I learned that to FIGHT is not always the best option. Everyday there were new experiences to overcome, new lessons to learn and new people to fall in love with. I never realized that the year would speed by so fast. Now I am almost breathless trying to recount everything that I have been blessed with this past 12 months. More than anything, I am thankful for all the beautiful people that surrounded me this year and I hope that 2012 brings more joy and fulfillment for everyone. I end the year hoping that I did something good for someone this 2011 and a promise that in 2012, the world will be a little bit better because of me.
I would like to welcome 2012 believing as Audrey Hepburn believes.
"I believe in manicures,. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day. And I believe in miracles."
